Karin Eastham has announced her resignation as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, effective Sept. 30, according to a press release issued Thursday afternoon. Eastham also resigned from the board of trustees. The press release stated that she was "instrumental in establishing the relationship with (Burnham's) Florida partners and creating our bicoastal operation. No other details were available as of late Thursday.
