The 18 and Under division took the championship win a seven-to-four final score over Modesto/Stanislaus.
This is the first time the club has ever won the Cal State Games.
"We are very pleased with the results because we have been working together for a long time and the girls really deserved both titles 16 and under and 18 and under," Dante Laghetto, the La Jolla Girls Water Polo Club coach, said.
The club is formed with middle school and high school players, including four Pacific Southwest Zone players: Victoria Frager, Jackie Walters, Kate Woods and Merry Yuen, plus the 2008 Cal State 18 and under MVP Sophia Gumina.
