- La Jolla Light

Some members of the Allied Artists Association of San Diego (AAASD) will be showing their work at the Riford Library's Meeting Room during the month of June. A reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. The public is invited.

Founded in 2005 by La Jolla resident Dottie Stanley, AAASD's purpose is to provide the community with superior-quality art created by some of San Diego's top-notch artists.

The library is located at 7555 Draper Ave. Its viewing hours are Monday and Wednesday noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information about the association, you can e-mail them at alliedartistsassnofsd@juno.com.
